I know most could give two shits about the show; but I have been watching it and have been really impressed by the rock vocals of this guy. He went a long way and took a form of music /style (and look) that many could have never seen hit this show ever let alone lead the polls and make it that far. Imean it is not BM but he has a gritty/passionate/ and powerful vox and could proably do anything from 90s era rock/ pop/ country rock to even thrash and power metal. The guy just sings that well.
Very impressed! it is ashamed that he is no longer going to carry on the rock/metal name for all of us here in the underground of rock and metal for a show that has its roots in American pop culture.
Maybe times are changing..lets hope so
I just thought he name deserved to be a topic in the overall discussion for Music. I think , in a small way, he has done a lot for the personna of quote "heavier" music in the views of the American mainstream and for the that he should be thanked.
