Now I know that not evryone will agree with me on this, but I was thinking what band has released good albums there entire career? Well when thinking this over a couple bands came to mind. First PainmuseuM but after a minute or so I thought that they don't really count because they only have one album out, and that album has the shitty title track. The next band to come to mind was Destruction, they started off good but when Schmier left they sucked. I couldn't stand them, well he came back and haven't let me down yet. Now the next band that came to mind was Death, I thought Death because they (I should say Chuck) has never let me down, from debut to the last album and everything in between I absoloutely love. They are heavy fast and hard with cool vocals by Chuck on all albums. I am so pissed that he is dead and there will be no more Death albums but what he left us with is good enough to win my perfect metal band award.

Now I know that not everyone will agree with me on this, so tell me what you think and say what you think your perfect metal band is.

Vehemence. God Was Created is the greatest album of all time. Their other two albums were MORE than exceptable for me. Consistancy is relative, and a good set of albums ON TOP of the greatest makes them the perfect band for me.

Holy Terror is perfectly perfect. They are a runner up for me, only because of the immortal status of GWC.

Blind Guardian..no doubt: they're about the only band from whom i like EVERY SINGLE ALBUM. Plus, they're brilliant. It's early to call them one of the classics but in about 5 years they'll be up there with for example Maiden

Drudkh, I have never heard of any of their music. But I think i will check them out. Where would be a good place to start?

Well, Cynic, but with just an album is very easy. Another choice could be Sabbat, if "Mourning Has Broken" hadn't seen the light. Death is a good option too, and Drudkh too... but for me, Green Carnation. They are very special.

Coroner is up there for me. If we play the one album game then I'd go with Ved Buens Ende.

Good thread, I'll have to think about this some more. Emperor will probably end up being my choice.

Drudkh is a good nominee. If they don't count I'll go with Abigor

Nevermore - no band sounds like them, they haven't released any un-godly albums, and they keep getting better. To me they are the band that basically sums up everything I love about metal - riffs, progressions, solos, drama, emotion, virtuosity, tightness,

Isis. Not a bad album, not a bad song, not a bad riff, continuous improvement.
