BRUFORD! (KC, Yes, UK, other supporting acts.. =P)

hmm, and then nine more..

Tig (Ozric Tentacles, Jamiroquai)
Tomas Haake (Meshuggah)
Bill Ward (Sabbath, not because he's any good, just because it's such a charm to listen to those breaks in Hand of Doom)
Danny Carey (Tooool)
Ian Paice (Deep Purple)
Abe Cunningham (Deftones, sue me, I like his style)
Faust (Emperor, Thorns, Aborym)
Earl of Void (Reverend Bizarre)
Terry Bozzio (just about everyone)

If I was smart I'd be picking things like Frost, Flo Mournier, asshole from Lamb of God.. but honestly blasting bores the shit out of me.

Of course, hence why I said that he's technically very good, but his drumming style doesn't really add anything to the music-hyperspeed blastbeats are all well and good, but it just doesn't cut it on nearly EVERY song.

No, I haven't heard World Downfall whateverthefuckthatis. One song/album or whatever doesn't really make him good enough to be in my list of best drummers, Altars of Madness would have been much more awesome had Keith Moon been drumming.

slow parts are harder than fast-as-hell parts... therefore any doom drummer beats the crap out of Pete Sandoval..
 (and seriously, on speed, no one beats the jazz drummers anyway... check Buddy Rich, Tony Williams etc...)
