I don't like Nightwish, too pop like for me. I've never heard the other band, but if they are similar to Nightwish, than i don't like them either.

Doomshine own Nightwish for three reasons..

a) they play doom metal
ii) they have doom in their name
3) nightwish suck

c'mon Stub, don't fail me now..

Well, considering my bathtub water is more Metal than Nightwish, I'll go with Doomshine.

I guess I'll be the one to stick up for Nightwish as they are one of my favorite bands. However, I have never heard of Doomshine.

As for the covers, tons of people and bands or whatever use that picture. I remember reading somewheres that its a famous statue someplace, but I cant remember, so Doomshine using it first makes no difference, because Evansomething used it as well, maybe even before Doomshine.

Yeah I think everyone but this Silent dude missed the point of the thread. And his point is a good one.

Haha. This thread really had no purpose other than HEY! LOOK! THEY USED THE SAME IMAGE! Hahaha.

But since I've heard little Doomshine, and I think Nightwish kicks fucking ass. I'll go with Nightwish via brutal knockout.

the best bit of this is that Doomshine aren't particularly good OR popular.. they're kind of a Solitude Aeturnus-alike with a little more heroicness thrown in..

edit: I guess heroism is a word too

I've heard clips and they sound good, but they're a lot slower than I particularly like. Still, I wouldn't throw them out of bed.

All these Nightwish haters, my god....

Similar covers, sure, but really how different can drawings of toomstones be? They all have writing on the front and when you have toomstones, there's always gonna be angels or spirits, etc.

As i am not an avid doom metal fan, i MUST go with one of my favourite METAL bands....NIGHTWISH!! With or without Tarja.

That's actually the same picture, each band just changed the writing on the tombstone.
