Just a more thorough take on the Now Playing topic. I'm normally listening to at least 6 to 10 albums on any given week and there's usually a ton of variety in my playlist. Is that true for you all or do you stick strictly to metal most of the time?

Current playlist:

1. Cattle Decapitation - Anthropocene Extinction
2. Fear Factory - Demanufacture
3. Iron Maiden - Rock in Rio I
4. Marvin Gaye - 1's
5. Mongol Metal - Tri-Split EP
6. Stevie Ray Vaughan - Blues at Sunrise
7. Sublime - S/T
8. Tyr - Land

My main Spotify playlist is what I'm normally listening to, and is what I often post in the Now Playing thread. It's like 24 hours long at this point, the next ten albums coming up are:

10cc - How Dare You
Opeth - Still Life
Cloud Rat - Qliphoth
Chelsea Wolfe - Abyss
Cattle Decapitation - The Anthropocene Extinction
Lychgate - Lychgate
Van Halen - Fair Warning
Meshuggah - Koloss
Darkthrone - Panzerfaust
Black Label Society - 1919 Eternal

A decent mix of stuff? I try and mix genres as I'm always worried about becoming burnt out on any one genre at a time.

I'm kind of on a massive doom binge at this point. So my current playlist would be

2. Colosseum - Chapter III: Parasomnia
3. My Dying Bride - Turn Loose The Swans
4. Trouble - The Skull
5. Ahab - The Divinity Of Oceans
6. Mournful Congregation - The Monad Of Creation

The new Taake is excellent. Filled with tasteful riffage and brilliant brilliant leads which at times have a vortex/psychedelic effect. I am impressed. You guys seem to pick a few albums and listen to them for a little while. It's methodical, which is a good thing. I, on the other hand, listen to albums randomly with the occasional album which I listen to for a few times throughout a few weeks. I need a lot of variety in my musical diet. But I will try this particular method for a change.

King Diamond - Abigail I and II
Enslaved - Axioma Ethica Odini & Below the Lights
Bathory - Blood Fire Death & Hammerheart
Revocation - Deathless
Emerson Lake & Palmer - self-titled & Trilogy
Deathspell Omega - Post 2005
King Crimson - In The Court of the Crimson King
Celtic Frost - Into the Pandemonium
Meshuggah - Koloss & Obzen
Inquisition - Entire Discog
Solefald - Last two
Miles Davis - Porgy and Bess
Black Sabbath - Sabotage
Amorphis - Tales From the Thousand Lakes
Dodheimsgard - A Umbra Omega
Black Crown Initiate - The Wreckage of Stars

I suppose I've listened to these albums more than anything else. However, there are always odd balls like a Dylan album or a Cash.

New Motorhead! That's definitely going to fit on the playlist. Otherwise, next ten albums coming up are:

Hypocrisy - Abducted
Orcustus - s/t
Blue Oyster Cult - Fire of Unknown Origin
Machine Head - Bloodstone & Diamonds
Alice Cooper - Billion Dollar Babies
The Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie & the Infinite Sadness
Agalloch - The Mantle
Ahab - The Call of the Wretched Seas
Necros Christos - Nine Graves
Desecration - Cemetery Sickness

Decent mix, if softer at the start.
