Let's kick this off: Aldrahn is back in DHG, they have a new album titled A Umbra Omega ("An"?) due 16 March 2015 via Peaceville Records.

MDB details still sketchy, but the recording is basically done. Hopefully in March/April it will see the light of day.

Lol @ that liturgy track. I would give a more detailed description of why it was lol worthy if I could be bothered, but lol.

Kind of have lost interest in Shining at this point, but they were good, at one point.

haha yeah. I'm drinking some beer right now and I finished one and went up the stairs to grab another and the song was just stuck in my head and I couldn't help but burst out laughing because of how fucking stupid the vocals are. It's like something a 16 year old conjured up in his basement on Reason or Logic Pro and then you add-in the vocals and it's just fucking dumb.

Guy needs to get punched in the face.

Destruction working on a new album. Not a surprise, but still enough to get me excited in the loins.

Haven't heard Spiritual Genocide yet but Day of Reckoning was very, very forgettable. Will still give the new record a chance, it's fuckin' Destruction after all, but I'm not expecting anything mind-blowing.

Pretty standard Venom chug track I'd say, but at least they've dropped the muddy production sound from the last couple of albums.

I guess it's not upcoming anymore but Sotajumala has released a killer new album called Raunioissa a weeks back, you guys should check it out. :dio: It's finnish death metal.

They put the whole album up on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVhxCM2vRYw

Keep of Kalessin should have a new album out next month as well as Carach Angren so that should be worth checking out.

Season of Mist wrote:
Ukrainian black metal pioneers DRUDKH have revealed the title of their next full-length, which will march under the flag of 'A Furrow Cut Short'. The album has been scheduled for release on the 20th of April 2015. Pre-sale will commence in late February, which will also mark the revealing of the album's cover art and tracklist.

DRUDKH maintain their strict policy of no interviews, no pictures, no live performance, and no statements. Yet everybody following the career and art of the band's mastermind Roman Sayenko will be aware that 'A Furrow Cut Short' cannot have been conceived without the dire situation of his Ukrainian homeland under military attack of a nuclear power playing a role in its inspiration.

Sounds interesting.

Anthrax is working on their next album.

And my favourite new-thrash band, Merciless Death, just finished recording their newest album.

Tremendous news about Arcturus. I cannot wait for a new album from the masters. Thanks for the update, Zad.

Nice! New Arcturus! I've been really into them recently.

Drudkh just doesn't do it for me anymore. I guess I'll always have Blood in Our Wells and Autumn Aurora though.

Their last two have been a bit uneven, granted, but Microcosmos was fantastic, and habitually underrated.

That Arcturus artwork has me hyped, but I'm not sure if that is because it reminds me of Limbonic Art.
