Once I'd have said 'the new Trivium album!!!11' to this, but listening to the single ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IIvSXocE6YY ) it's not actually that bad, which I think is the nicest I've been about a Trivium song since Light to Flies...

I like the stuff when he's not singing :-), poops out into lifeless pop metal in the verse and chorus.

I was at this Iced Earth show about ten years ago and Trivium opened along with some local band. During the opening band, this douchebag with a Mohawk, sunglasses, and hot topic Slayer shirt was standing next to me. Then before Trivium went on he was on stage tuning a guitar and I thought he was a roadie. Then Trivium started playing and it turned out he was the lead singer.
