Post subject:  Top ten albums of the year!!! Make a damn list!!!!
So the year is coming to a close and it's time for the yearly list. We still have a month and a half so list can be tweaked and rearranged.

My list could be much longer than ten and if your can too please feel free to make a longer list. For the sake of sleep I'm gonna do a list of my top ten and I will add to it tomorrow when I don't have to wake up at 5:30 for work.

Like I said, this list is incomplete and semi out of order. I will fix and add to it tomorrow.

Also at the end of December we should put our final lists in as our final list.

Not sure about the order except for the first couple, but here's my 10 from the year so far. Really everything after the first 3 or 4 is kind of interchangable, position wise.

1) Cattle Decapitation - Monolith of Inhumanity
2) Overkill - The Electric Age
3) Napalm Death - Utilitarian
4) Pig Destroyer - Book Burner
5) Hexen - Being and Nothingness
6) Rumpelstiltskin Grinder - Ghostmaker
7) Kreator - Phantom Antichrist
8) Testament - Dark Roots of Earth
9) Psycroptic - The Inherited Repression
10) Master - The New Elite

EDIT: Made a conscious choice to make a metal only list.

All and all was a better year for picking up reissues, was a mediocre for metal all and all.

Alright...Here's some non-metal I liked from the year so far. Consider this one to be pretty much entirely out of order. Havn't had much time to think about.

1) The Mars Volta - Nocturniquet (Prog)

3) Rush - Clockwork Angels (Prog)
4) Dirty Three - Toward the Low Sun (Instrumental Art Rock)
5) Anglagard - Viljans Öga (Prog)
6) Sync 24 - Comfortable Void (Downtempo Electronica)
7) The Flaming Lips - The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends (Psychedelic Rock)
8) Crippled Black Phoenix - (Mankind) The Crafty Ape (Space Rock)
9) Alabama Shakes - Boys & Girls (Southern Rock)
10) Tame Impala - Lonerism (Psychedelic Rock)

Yeah....like I said, haven't really thought about this much. This is basically just 10 albums from this year I enjoyed. Order is arbitrary.

Vektor came out November, 2011. Otherwise it would be in my top 2!
