"Meads of Asphodel 'Sonderkommando' album is in the mixing stages and will be out via Candlelight in Feb 2013. It will feature Mirai [Sigh] Roibéard Ó Bogail [Mael Morha], Rob [Amebix] and other blackened souls. The album is a dark twisted leap into the Holocaust and the horrible realities therein."

Looking forwards...

Nah. I just listened to that teaser video and it sounded like the music of all those really bad technology videos we watched in high school or maybe even something off of Discovery Channel. It lacks any discernible emotion that might make me want to listen further. Sorry if my comment came off as dick.

February 19: Shai Hulud - Reach Beyond the Sun

No offense taken, I just really dig Cynic and Jazz Fusion in general. I lovetheir first album and the samples sound pretty good to me, but maybe that's just because I'm already used to their sound. I'll admit I actually didn't like them immediately, it took a few listens before they clicked.

Jazz fusion is jazz for dummy. Good place to start if you move elsewhere soon enough.

Yeah I got the drift, but I think he should be smoking less of that weed.

Suffocation - The Pinnacle of Bedlam.

Coming at some point in 2013. Relatively soon, I hope, they've finished recording it.

Oh my, new Pestilence. Their last 2 haven't been world beaters, but still some good groovin old school death metal.
