It's a really good record actually. Will have to order it when I get paid again. Tankard albums are unfortunately pretty hard to get in my neck of the woods. Must not have much distribution in the states. I almost always have to buy an import.

Despite not enjoying the most recent Opeth album, I really like the track Voice of Treason.

200 Years is a killer track as well. Hoping they do a more extensive US tour sometime in the near future.

Not Metal, but a childhood favorite band of mine, who's making a comeback with a new release this October. It's a great rock tune with excellent guitar playing. Canadian rock at it's best.

Moonsorrow - Pimeä. No pagan/folk metal ever comes close to matching these guys. I actually think they may be a top 3 favorite band for me.

Some folks might have disregarded them after Deathconsciousness, but this song is amazing and the new album is solid. Perfect post-rock, etc.

Listened to Once Was Not a million times over the years!! I don't even think Lord Worm is that good, he just made Cryptopsy so much better. Laughable that metal-archives review scores put Once Was Not and the self-titled album in a virtual tie.

Yes, was disappointed with the self-titled which was hailed by some as a return to form but which is easily beaten by the non-Worm albums like Whisper Supremacy. And although OWN pales compared to the classics like None So Vile, I still think it's one of the better and more originally-minded death metal albums from a big name in the last ten years or so.

I think Once Was Not is great...
