Relapse have dumped Tau Cross and returned their album after discovering that vocalist Rob (ex-Amebix) thanked a holocaust denier in the draft liner notes and refused to back down. Nothing explicitly coming over as dodgy in the lyrics apparently, looks like Relapse wanting to get ahead of a potential "cancel". |

Had heard the 'Lacuna Coil are good again' rumours but didn't really believe them. But they do have guitar solos and shit now, even if the Korn influence is still very much there. Slow musical news day; Rotting Christ are deliberately not doing paid meet-and-greets on their forthcoming US/Canada tour and that seems out of the norm enough for a band of their status that it's worth praising (and, you know, Season of Mist mentioning in Facebook posts about their tour...). Apparently they're very good at hanging out and shooting the breeze casually with gig goers, in fairness to them. |
