Quite a few listening sessions out from this recording and I do think that in my humble opinion this album is completely and utterly outstanding, in so many different regards.

checking out what all the hate is about. first listen.

People are moronic. It is a severely chronic condition, without a cure. I'd suspect it's their explicit NS lyrical themes, that people come to despise. Mostly, hysteria, by grown up men.

I wish that were true with this record...however the reviews on M-A are right. Didn't enjoy it.

Sorry, buddy. Very unfortunate. I've had quite a few unexpected disappointments myself. Life is out of joint sometimes. No real reason why.

Second spin.

Edit: Bolt Thrower were truly a remarkable extreme metal band. Grit, passion and not an ounce of all that silliness that accompanies many DM bands. The band's name is one of the most original and jarring band names in all of metal. This band is certainly a new-found favorite.

My first spin. Symphonies of Sickness was not the most pleasant listening experience and I'm certainly not very eager to hear it again, but I think this album will be different. Let's see how this goes. The lyrical theme on this recording is sickeningly charming.

It has been long. Always a hell of a time with this recording.

Edit: You know, this album is under 40 minutes but it's so bloody heavy that you feel every note hammered into your head. An enduring experience into extremity.
