Find myself listening to these guys a lot lately.
This, contrary to popular opinion, but true to my contrarian nature, is their best output, Black Wings coming in a close second for me.
They really never got their dues for their take on old school heavy metal. Take a dash of Maiden, a pinch of Mercyful Fate and a twist of Priest on top of a nice modern production and you have Wolf.

The Dolan-era stuff was my first exposure to the black metal godz. I picked up a scratched copy of New, Live and Rare in a dollar bin at an old CD Warehouse and cranked it all that summer. Venom Inc maintains the same raw, dirty looseness that made their old school records so much fucking fun. Keep that good shit coming, boys.

Another solid Bloodbath release. I could see some people finding parts of it a little boring because it doesn't quite have the same amount of excitement contained in a "Nightmares Made Flesh" for example but it's a solid follow up to Grand Morbid Funeral. I dig the production too.

Agreed on Ave. I want to hear more.
Mantas has always been an underrated axeman, IMO, and on Ave, he has his shit down tighter than ever.

Dolan era was always kind of overlooked, and underrated, especially Prime Evil.
Everyone here knows I will be the first to say the first incarnation will always be the true Venom based on Welcome To Hell and Black Metal, and too a lesser degree AWWS and Possessed.
Once Mantas split (case in point) and they released Calm Before The Storm, it wasn't the same.
Seemed kinda wimpy. Beauty and the Beast, WTF? The Dolan era was a step back to what what made Venom, well, Venom.
