I'm listening to Children of Bodom- In Your Face and what a great hook/chorus. Just really brings a smile to my face, master songwriting in that song for just a great metal song. What are your favorites? |

I immediately thought of the opening guitar melodies of "The Essence" by Firewind. The absolute greatest melody of all time is what i'll call the Stream Of Conciousness theme, which reprises itself in dramatic fashion during "identities," but is mostly present in the song "The Fall of Reason" a variation of it is at the beginning of Vision Divine's "Versions of the same." |
