All this AC/DC talk (in another thread) has got me thinking.

Is Angus the most energetic guitarist of all time?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ha5IVFYkYSg

PLEASE WATCH THE WHOLE VIDEO BEFORE REPLYING.

The way he constantly headbangs while playing solos is nuts. He's moving for literally the entire 8 minutes.

I think probably amphetamines are involved. 4:15 - 5:50 is the best. Also 7:40 - the end.

lol he's definitely on something. I bet at the end the rest of the band is just like "man fuck down so we can get to the next song -_-"

Angus swears he has never taken anything before a show. He says that his frantic movements on stage are his way of dealing with terrible stage fright. Even at his current age and playing a lifetime's worth of shows, he still gets stage fright before performing.

The guitarists for Dillinger Escape Plan are pretty fucking frantic.

Malmsteen sometimes moves around like he's on crack.

He moves so much you don't even see it. He only pauses to do his cool mustaine-sign language during symphony of destruction.

That clip i posted is from a DVD called Plug Me In, which i've got.

That show at the apollo has 3 more songs, and angus is just as energetic across all of them.

I, personally, have not seen a more energetic performance.

You guys should find some clips to back up your arguments, I'd love to see them.

Yeah? But when I saw 'Deth about a couple of years back, Mustaine headbanged a lot. So maybe he didn't move cos he had a stiff neck or something?
