I don't know whether this would be best put in the "What shall Mintrude and I review" thread but since I am neither Mintrude nor Goat I thought I'd put it here. If other moderators think it should be merged with that lock this and I shall copy paste this post into that thread.

I was going through a lot of stuff I'd not listened to in a while and loads of ideas for archive reviews started appearing. So here's a list of those ideas but I can't do them all except over a long period of time. Anyone who has opinions on which ones ought to be done sooner rather than later can you please let me know in this thread. Also, shout loudly if you think it ought to be a classic rather than an archive.

Gorguts - Obscura
Edge of Sanity - Spectral Sorrows (one of my all time favourite DM albums)
Drudkh - Blood in Our Wells
Fleurety - Min Tid Skall Komme
Coroner - RIP/No More Color
Comets on Fire - Field Recordings from the Sun
Nasum - Human 2.0 or Helvete
The Gathering - Mandylion/Nightime Birds
The Chasm - Deathcult to Eternity/Conjuration of the Spectral Empire
In the Woods - Omnio
Decapitated - The Negation
Destroyer 666 - Cold Steel for an Iron Age
Death Strike - Fuckin' Death
My Dying Bride - Light at the End of the World
Tankard - Zombie Attack
Electric Masada - 50th birthday album (utterly great but not sure how relevant)
Demilich - Nespithe

There's quite a lot there so if anyone could give me some priorities that would be great. :)

Emphasis on Gorguts and Nasum.

+1 (and well, for me both are classics)

Gorguts, The Gathering (Mandylion), Tankard, My dying bride, in that order, is what I'd like.

'Obscura' is 10 years old next year, surely it qualifies for classic status? I'd like to see a review for the Fleurety as well.

First one you should do is Obscura.
Then Nesphite and Deathcult to Eternity... The Chasm is such an underrated band.

Obscura is 1998, I think? so qualifies already.

Ok I've been talking about doing it for ages so I'll do it tonight.

Coroner - RIP/No More Color
Electric Masada - 50th birthday album (utterly great but not sure how relevant)

CLASSICS! :dio:

And Electric Masada has enough metal in it to be relevant.

I just did my Obscura review as a classic as that seems to be a priority for many people.

No More Color I will also do as a classic but that will have to wait til a bit later on.

One of the others off that list I am going to do for monday, but I haven't decided which yet :omfg:

Btw guys, I meant requests from that list above rather than general ones... they are the ones I really wanted to do, and they alone will take me long enough :P

Thanks for the feesback dudes :)

Coroner - No More Color should be classic, and The Gathering and Comets on Fire should get sum reviews.

So I've never done a classic here before so I don't know how long after submitting it it goes up, but hopefully Obscura will be classic-ified soon. Then my next target for a classic will be No More Color, due to popular demand.

I want to do the Nasum soon but that will take a lot of thought. For now I've done the Electric Masada because I was really in the mood for it. It's not metal by a long shot but plenty of people here seem to dig it, so why not.

Goat: Funnily enough I have an old review of Drudkh's BIOW that I wrote ages ago for an occasion which never surfaced. I could edit it to include the caveat "and now we know that this is way better than Estrangement lol!!1", and then it would probably be good to put here :)

Haha, well, go for it. I often find that old reviews take more rewriting than you'd think, though.

And classics go up the week they were put up, unless another one was put up first. I'm sure I've told you that.

Sorry. Didn't read the post properly. :P So, yeah. Coroner or The Chasm would get my vote.

Ok so my next targets will be No More Color as a classic and Nasum and the Chasm for some archives.
