1349 are in town this Monday. Anyone know who they're touring with? Would go as part of a package but not just for them, that's ridic.

I might see Behemoth too. They are with different bands though. Kreator was in town a couple of weeks ago but didn't go. Triptykon I would love to see live! Also, Grand Magus sounds like a good time. I enjoyed their latest effort.

On 1349: I liked their latest input.

Ticket already brought for At the Gates/Triptykon/Morbus Chron, and going to get one for Morbid Angel too as it's their 'play Covenant in full' tour. :dio: Been too long since I've been giggin'.

The little I've heard from the new At the Gates, I've liked! I envy you seeing Tritykon live. It's indeed refreshing to see a band live. Especially if you haven't done so in quite a while. My last live show was two years ago, so I am extremely excited to see two of my favourite bands live, namely Dark Traquillity and Insomnium. I am still debating about seeing Mayhem and Watain. Although I would love to see Behemoth and hear some tracks off "Satanist."

Was a little let down by the new At The Gates, but it's definitely a solid album, and am very much looking forward to Tom G and co! And Dark Tranquillity are definitely on my to-see list, and would definitely go to see the True Mayhem if they were in town...

Yeah, you do have a point. I think I'll make a it trip to down town to purchase the tickets soon. Mayhem would be a thrill to see live now that I think of it.

Missed Morbus Chron (and Code Orange, who I didn't know were playing) and arrived partway through Triptykon. Not sure if it was venue or them, but it was pretty disappointing - wall of noise sound. Fortunately At The Gates were on point and were terrific. Tomas Lindberg noted that they last played here in 1995, which is an incredible gap. Ah well, hopefully Morbid Angel on Monday will be flawless.

YOB are coming in March but they're opening for Enslaved
Nothing are coming in March but they're opening for Torche
Converge are coming in April but they're opening for At the Gates

(I don't dislike any of the headliners but I just know that it'll be disappointing for a band I love to leave the stage after 30 mins and be replaced by a band I love not nearly as much)

70000 Tons of Metal departed today...

One day I will be on that cruise ship. The line-ups are old school ridiculousness.

God Dethroned, Exumer, Annihilator, Anvil, Blind Guardian, Artillery, Behemoth, Cannibal Corpse, Destruction, Gama Bomb, Grave Digger, Heathen, Helstar, Kataklysm, Municipal Waste, Napalm Death, Origin, Primal Fear, Soulfly, Tank, Trouble, Venom, Whiplash, Wintersun.

Jesus Christ. There's a bunch more I didn't list.

With that line-up, I wouldn't care if they were playing at fucking Disneyland.
