Yes Omnio is a very emotionally charged recording. Googled your mentioned band. Sounds interesting. Have you heard the new Tenhi?

I have not, but will change that soon. Yes, Sirom's 2022 Liquefied Throne of Simplicity turned out by my favorite release from that year so I bought their back catalog as well. I find that as I get older I still love heavy music/metal, but enjoy mixing in listens to other genres more and more.

Most definitely, buddy, most definitely! I would wholeheartedly agree with you. As much as I need music that is mightily monumental as metal, likewise, and equally, I need a strong measure of tranquility and equanimity. And such are the natural events of life and nature. So I would say that we are maturer today, than we were yesterday days.

Edit: In the spirit of our conversation, I shall be playing some Negura Bunget in the evening. A favourite of yours, I know.

That's great. I appreciate the Negura Bunget listens always, and it was actually Goat who made me discover that some of their later, post band acrimony material was quite good too. Tenhi was a very pleasant listen, thanks for the reminder/suggestion!

Most appreciate it, buddy. I have just yesterday finished organizing my newly re-built collection. I am receiving the aforementioned band in a very short while tonight. Thanks for the company, North.

As it turns out last night's package which was supposed to be Aeternus in CD format was indeed an LP, wrongly advertised. I had to have an extended conversation with Amazon customer service to get a full refund without returning the LP. Instead I got:

Both re-buys:

Deathspell Omega - The Furnaces of Palingenesia
Satyricon - Dark Medieval Times (Remastered)

Summoning - Oath Bound

Just had to have it again.

I had a few other bands in mind, but the most recent impressions that these two bands had on me made me want their most recent offerings the most. These are my only two most recent purchases:

Immolation - Acts of God
Persefone - Metanoia

Latest:

Disillusion - Ayam
Gaerea - Mirage
Oak - Disintegrate

I thought some contemporary music was necessary. I believe I have seen Husker play at least two of these recordings, if not all three.

Also:

Primordial - How It Ends

I have to hear this. The cover is most intriguing, and the subject-matter, equally.

Great to see you post here, Steve. I have purchased quite a bit lately, as I always do and I shall post them later on.

I am purchasing much less in the new year but I have been acquiring steadily, with perhaps three to four recordings every week, sometimes more, sometimes less, but on average.

Kadavar - Self-Titled
Deep Purple - Shades of Deep Purple
Jean-Michel Jarre - Geometry of Love
Thin Lizzy - Live and Dangerous

Within the past week or so ago.

Proscriptor McGovern's Apsû
Oranssi Pazuzu - Värähtelijä
Behemoth - Gromm

Very much looking forward to hearing these recordings.
