This is actually out before 2010 but it's a bit depressing waking the old thread up just to let it sink again so...

Abraxas - Wretched Existence (EP)

http://www.myspace.com/officialabraxas

Makoto Mizuguchi's (Hate Eternal etc) new band.

Decent angry DM.

Killer album! :)

I just listened to 2 more songs on youtube. Even though my heart was saying no wait, my ears kept saying MORE MORE.

I now will check amazon everyday to see when the pre-order goes up.

Yeah, it's awesome. I can't stop listening to it. The songwriting is superb.

I think that's the most appropriate album title ever.

Hard to believe it's been 5 years since Wintersun came out.

So we find ourselves at the end of 2009, housebound and mixing a record of possibly epic proportions, although not as wilfully epic as the last one.

It might, might just make you dance. If you’re a fairly imaginative dancer.

Anyway, a little of this impending frost is no doubt rubbing off, but when we get round to releasing it, it’ll be joyous spring. Good time to tour, spring. Less flu.

:D

I really really want to bring up how it will kick the new In Flames' ass. :P

Haha, I bet, man. I dunno, I think DT is pretty bland. They don't really do anything in terms of mixing it up with their sound, and I think a lot of their newer stuff blends together. I couldn't really tell the difference between Character and Fiction.

I've always been more of an In Flames fan, but I'll listen to DT every now and then I guess. In Flames at least tries to do something different on each of their albums for the most part. DT has just kinda sounded the same to me for awhile.

Yeah I'm just bitching, was never a fan of either bands, but I guess I prefer DT. In Flames is a decent live band though.

'Infinity' is set to be released this February. I loved 'Pray' so I'm eager to hear this one.

Motorhead enters the studio in February. :dio: :dio:

Why I'm so into Motorhead lately, I have no idea.

Motorhead has been following a pretty safe formula for their last couple albums, but you know what? It works fucking splendidly.

Last couple of albums? You mean their entire career, right? Actually, Kiss of Death was decent but I really did think Motorizer was absolutely amazing, some of their best stuff ever.
