They don't get arrested for merely buying registered firearms when they have a permit to own them.

And in many instances, they don't get arrested or even monitored even after having contacts with known terrorists or for being known extremists.

Boston Bombers are a great example - Russian intelligence had warned US authorities those two brothers were extremists.

Or for being emailed Breivik's manifesto, or having known neo-nazi sympathies? It was the combination here, rather than the gun purchase alone, as far as I'm aware...

...But yes, intelligence failures obviously exist!

Any updates on Varg? All I've heard since the arrest is the statement from his lawyer saying the evidence is thin...
