New Paramore album in September, fuck yeah. I hope it's got stuff along the lines of Decode.

From interviews, statements, and the two live videos of two new songs they played last week, I'm guessing there won't be. The two new songs are along the lines of Riot!'s pop punk/power pop stuff.

Well maybe there'll be one or two songs like Decode! There were a couple ballads on Riot! :P

Either way I'll be happy as long as they've still got super duper melodies and riffs.

Pff, the Pogues did it first and the Pogues did it better.

Oh Ganesha. You have made the site 0.0012% less "metal" now. I wonder. What will Devoted Walnut say. Will he be angry. I hope not.

Got some promo thingies from Napalm;

Jungle Rot - What Horrors Await
Hellsaw - Cold
Hatesphere - To the Nines

The first is NP. I dig this kind of thing, very straightforward riff-orientated DM, like Desecration or something.

WTF is Frigid talking about Ahab's version looks a lot nice and cleaner than The Pogues by far.
