Matt & Kim - Good Ol' Fashioned Nightmare

I got a bunch of free songs from a promo thing on shockhound.com with my hottopic order, and this is the best of them imo. Catchy keyboard driven indie pop.

I don't mind new Aborted. I think the biggest problem after The Archaic Abattoir is the production. Its a bit too clean and lacks any punch. Goremageddon is one of my favourite death metal albums.

NP: Iron & Wine - Boy With a Coin

Can't stop listening to this.

Opeth -- Burden

That laugh thing at the end creeps me the fuck out.

My problem is that the songs are rubbish.

NP: Mastodon - Blood Mountain

You're right Minty, still awesome.

Rubbish songs tend to be a problem. Good catch Zad.

NP: Origin -- Finite

what an amazing song, I've listened to it who knows how many times today and I just can't get it out of my head.

Listened to that right before class today. It really set the pace for my mind getting fucked by philosophy only minutes later.

You told your mamma I'd get you home
But you didn't tell her I had no car...

My first contender for power metal album of '09. Unbelievable.

Morbid Angel - Covenant and Brotha Lynch Hung - Season Of Da Siccness whilst moosying around Tescos. Don't they employ some weird-looking sods now!

Dalek - Gutter Tactics

Basically a noise record with rapping. Would I get slaughtered if I reviewed it favourably? I'd have to talk about why the rapping is good, which no-one would like... you guys are much less likely to go shitstorm than the forum two years ago, but surely even you have your limits... or maybe I should just say fuck it and do it.

Streetcleaner by Godflesh. I'm on 'Mighty Trust Krusher', it's damn brutal.
