Huh. It says he (she? I'm not sure which to use) is transgendered, but I don't see anything about a sex change operation. I remember shaking hands with him (her?) after a Gigantour show in 2005. Small dude. Props for being open about it.

So apparently Raplh Santolla was booted out of Deicide, apparently for being a drunk. Bad news for the band as their last album sucked horribly, and losing the reason Stench of Redemption was their last great album further relegates Deicide to the ranks of has beens. Seriously, Benton's statements are hypocritical considering how many shows the band cancels, his own idiotic antichristian novelty, and his own "suicide" pledge he never came through with. If fatman Benton isn't a bigger contradiction to a man who actually kept Deicide afloat for at least one album, then maybe Santolla can actually make a project better than Deicide's last piece of shit.

Come off it, if the guy's that bad then Glen's more than entitled to send him packing. Being too drunk to play is a lot worse than saying you are going to kill yourself and then not doing so, ffs.

Then Benton may as well send his own hamburger eating ass off packing, because of the aforementioned reasons especially out here on the West coast where he regularly cuts off shows, cancels shows, or plays drunk as well. I've seen it on more than one occasion, not to mention the creative shitpile that the following Deicide albums will inevitably be without the leads that made SOR the swansong that it was in Deicide's flaccid career. I'm all for booting out a slouch of a band member, but when the guy has his issues and you have your issues, and he is the creative lifesblood in your two decade old overrated pile of saggy mantits then you are only gutting yourself..

Henceforth, I am reserving the personal honor of reviewing the new Deicide and giving it a whopping 0 for the inevitable lack of creativity and Benton's grumbling Job for a cowboy vocals.

You gotta hand it to steve for keeping an open mind.
