That's a pretty common feeling amongst metalheads about lots of bands. :lame:

I am actually the other way around. i wasn't really into the old sutff, but I am frequently listenign to "by the way" and "californication" at work where i have play semi-mild music. I don't like stadium arcadium though.

That's because only drunken, drug-addled teenagers make good music. Afterwards they just become pansies or try to rip-off their drunken, drug-addled teenage selves.

Sound Of The Underground or whatever it was called was a great song. They've gone downhill since then, as have the Sugababes.

And I'm not too familiar with the genre itself, but lots of bluegrass songs that I have heard I really liked. They shred just as hard as metal guitarists, just on a banjo. :dio:

I think nearly 99% of metalheads dig the Peppers and we're not embarassed bout it.

I think I better say that the Chilli Peppers are one of the worst bands ever, just so I don't get lumped in with that statement. Although going for 25 years without writing one classic song is an almost commendable achievement.

I just realised Girls Aloud are the mothers of the guilty pleasure.

Well I'm not sure I agree on that, but hey, we all have opinions of our own. I think they're still a fine band. The latest double disc album was great. I really liked it. But I have to admit it's nowhere near Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magic.

K, time to let loose the bands of which I have more than one album-

Nirvana (all)
Pearl Jam (all)
Chilis (all except latest one)
Weezer (all)
Jerry Cantrell/Alice In Chains (all)
Pixies (all)
Queens of The Stone Age/Kyuss (all)
Foo Fighters (all except recent live album)
...And You Will Know Them By The Trail Of Dead (all)
Bush (all, even the wanky Deconstructed shite)
Soundgarden (all)
Mudhoney
Sonic Youth (yeah, I know, I got hooked by the Seattle scene back in the early '90s. What's a guy to do?)
Smashing Pumpkins (all except their last one)
Deftones
Limp Bizkit
Placebo
Mudvayne
Raging Speedhorn
Hatebreed
and worst of all Blink 182

I suppose it wouldn't be so bad, but I'd even get the Chilli's new one if I saw it cheap enough. I'm a serial collector (anal retentive more like) and I've had the last Weezer album since it came out and haven't played it once.

They look like your typical skinny whores whom Hollywood shoves down the world's throat as being the most desirable women. But also fun-looking, I suppose.

Because when you are younger you have more energy and rebelliousness, so you don't start releasing fucing bathtime relaxation music until you are in your forties, which is where the CHilly Peppers are now...

I've got a soft spot for Fuel by Metallica. It's the only post Black Album song I like.
