Well out of that list i made, none of them are rap but yes most are r&b, but you did say anything on the radio (pop)....and that is what gets played on the radio. r&b takes up about 60% of radio time, maybe more

Oh. Well, I meant to say anything not on the radio. Minus the classic rock stations, radio is pretty much shit. R&B and rap will not get much play time at our reception. We'll have the occasional Vanilla Ice or something old school like that, but for the most part there isn't going to be anything.

We want to stick with classic rock/metal that will appeal to everybody. We’d also like to throw in some oldies and classic R&B/pop, so people can have something to dance to.

I'll make a list of some of these suggestions and go from there. Thanks.

Hey, you like 80s rock. Play lots of 80s rock! Old people always sort of like it and don't realise its rock music.

Yeah I'll have a lot of Van Halen, Def Leppard, Poison...

We've been going through our list of people and there are actually a lot of older people attending.

Why not try something off the Green Carnation - Acoustic Verses Album? That's very enjoyable in a mellow sort of way. Maybe you can put it on for when the guests are resting, or sitting, or whatever.

I don't know how to dance, but my fiancé (feels so weird to say that) keeps begging me. Anyway, I have a lot of songs to look up.

Well, that "I don't want to dance!" "But you have to!" song would fit perfectly.

Patrick Cowley & Sylvester

"Do Ya Wanna Funk"

great 70's disco track

How bout some tracks from N-Trance?

Their covers of Stayin' Alive and Paradise City were good crowd pleasers

You have to play "U can't touch this" to turn the whole thing into a rave!
