What I do mind, however, are people that are constantly bragging left and right about things like how they survived when they were kicked out of their houses and living on the streets, as well as people who are quick to say that if you don't like the same things they like (ie. American History), you're automatically an uncultured swine. Jon Schaffer does both of those things and really puts them into overdrive. Even Tim Owens complains about him sometimes.

Not strictly metal, but that reminded me of 50 cent and his bullshit about how he got shot nine times. damn that guy is a tool.

[Intro: 50 Cent]
Yeah...
Uh huh
So seductive

[Chorus: 50 Cent & Olivia]
[50 Cent]
I'll take you to the candy shop
I'll let you lick the lollypop
Go 'head girl, don't you stop
Keep going 'til you hit the spot (woah)
[Olivia]
I'll take you to the candy shop
Boy one taste of what I got
I'll have you spending all you got
Keep going 'til you hit the spot (woah)

[Verse 1: 50 Cent]
You can have it your way, how do you want it
You gon' back that thing up or should i push up on it
Temperature rising, okay lets go to the next level
Dance floor jam packed, hot as a teakettle
I'll break it down for you now, baby it's simple
If you be a nympho, I'll be a nympho
In the hotel or in the back of the rental
On the beach or in the park, it's whatever you into
Got the magic stick, I'm the love doctor
Have your friends teasin you 'bout how sprung I gotcha
Wanna show me how you work it baby, no problem
Get on top then get to bouncing round like a low rider
I'm a seasons vet when it come to this shit
After you work up a sweat you can play with the stick
I'm tryin to explain baby the best way I can
I melt in your mouth girl, not in your hands (ha ha)

[Chorus]

[Bridge: 50 Cent & Olivia]
Girl what we do (what we do)
And where we do (and where we do)
The things we do (things we do)
Are just between me and you (oh yeah)

[Verse 2: 50 Cent]
Give it to me baby, nice and slow
Climb on top, ride like you in the rodeo
You ain't never heard a sound like this before
Cause I ain't never put it down like this
Soon as I come through the door she get to pullin on my zipper
It's like it's a race who can get undressed quicker
Isn't it ironic how erotic it is to watch em in thongs
Had me thinking 'bout that ass after I'm gone
I touch the right spot at the right time
Lights on or lights off, she like it from behind
So seductive, you should see the way she wind
Her hips in slow-mo on the floor when we grind
As Long as she ain't stoppin, homie I aint stoppin
Drippin wet with sweat man its on and popping
All my champagne campaign, bottle after bottle its on
And we gon' sip til every bubble in every bottle is gone

[Chorus 2x]

OMG this is so funny! :D

I voted Lar$, the guy has evolved into a money grubbing douchebag and his taste in art is terrible. I think he ought to go join Stomp and beat on some more trash cans. Also love Ozzy but Ozzy fans make me look bad. Sharon is a different story.

As far as Jon Shaefer goes while yes his whole "I used to live on the streets" bit is wearing quite thin and yes the way he speaks makes him sound like a self absorbed prick. That being said I think the Glorious Burden was a great idea for an album and I wish more american bands would do it. Besides, since when is being patriotic a crme? I agree with what he says to an extent but the way he goes about it makes him seem very zealous wich is never good.

A tie between Lar$ and Sharon, I can't decide which one I despise more. Oddly enough, I'd never minded Sharon that much until the last couple of years. Since then, my hatred has been gradually boiling, and the egg-bombing against Maiden was the final straw ("me and Kelly had such a blast", yeah indeed, I wish you were part of an even bigger blast by having someone snipe you with a bazooka).

Kiske also deserves a dishonorable mention - everyone is free to develope different interests and move away from their origins, but shitting in the dish where you've been eating your whole career is a form of disrespectful arrogance I can't condone, moreso considering he's still leeching on the genre he now despises so much via countless whoring guest appearances.

No-one else finds Filth annoying? How anorexic goth chicks find the fat bastard sexy is beyond me. And los petit shits from Trivium annoy me every time I hear them, they're stereotypical Americans, loud, brash, arrogant, child-like arseholes.

Hey! I resemble that remark!

Yeah, I agree with your Trivium assessment, and I would also add that As I Lay Dying belongs to the same stereotype.

Not that I'm saying any of you Americans are like that. However, I do live in probably the most xenophobic nation on earth, and that's how you get seen over here.

Get outta here! I always thought the UK had one of the most progressive immigration policies in the EU. And you didn't even give votes to a right wing xenophobist like Le Pen.

This liberal vaginahood that we find ourselves in at the moment is a pure reaction to that. And we have our BNP, and the leader recently got acquitted of racial hatred. Seriously, we hate the French, we hate the Germans, we hate Australians, we hate the Welsh, Scots and Irish. Americans, Dutch, Russians, Chinese, bastards all of them. Partly due to being an island race, partly due to being very polite and not saying such things to tourists who provide lots of income. We used to rule the world, from one end to the other, and now the very bunch of mad religious bastards we shipped off to America however many hundred years ago have become the most powerful nation on earth. It's sheer bitterness. Do we have a small section of society who are right-wing, like the French? No, most of the population harbours such feelings.

And I'm 100% serious.

I hate the place sometimes. But I love it at the same time. I suppose that's what nationalism feels like.

"Gosford Park" is a perfect example, and a great film to boot.

Not very metal, is he?

How are you finding that Hives? I quite liked it, if a bit short...
