+1 to ganeesh

does anything from the first Black Sabbath album count? like: A Bit of Finger/Sleeping Village/Warning and the just under 10 minute Wasp/Behind the Wall of Sleep/Basically/NIB ???

if they count, then they are on my list.

Reverend Bizarre - Almost all of their songs
Cephalic Carnage - Halls of Amenti (yes, its doom)
Orthodox - Geryon's Throne
Electric Wizard - Weird Tales
Comatose Vigil - Narcosis
Evoken - Too many to list
diSEMBOWELMENT - The Tree of Life and Death
Corrupted - El Mundo Frio
Buried at Sea - Ghost
Esoteric - Almost all of their songs

and many more.

YES! :dio:

Yeah, but it's cheating because it's really a load of much shorter songs that they couldn't be bothered sorting out into a load of different tracks.

Great "song", though.

Ok you guys, Light of Day has been getting far, far too much praise.

I deliberately left it off my list, and I believe I have the longest list so far.

I dunno, man, I normally spurn that gothy/progressive stuff like the plague, but some of the moments on LoD are spine-tingling... Some filler, too, for sure.

Most of the riffage moments are very good, granted. However, I thought the primary vocalist was irritating, and the scat session by Synne Soprana (who I liked a lot in 'In the Woods') was terrible. Deathier vocals and about 10 minutes shaved from the filler would have made it an excellent album, instead of one I never make it all the way through anymore.

Speaking of In The Woods, Omnio is surely up there as one of metal's best epic songs.
