Hails!
and WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT indeed. I sure hope they don't fuck it up. Re-emerging bands have an unpleasant tendency to disappoint. But I will assume that it will kick ass until proven otherwise.

Epica - The Classical Conspiracy (Nuclear Blast)
Stratovarius - Polaris (Ear Music)

UK's Metal Hammer basically called it pop music in their review, which isn't giving me much hope. Let's hope it's good pop...

I feel that it's a good solid album from LC. Yes, it's more of the KarmaCode sound & style (not that I find anything wrong with that) and it would seem that's the direction that LC seem to want to travel in now.

W00t.

My music world sources inform me that the new 1349 is a departure from blastblastblast. Hopefully it'll truly shit people up, review either this or (more likely) next week.

:omfg: I hope it'll be amazing. So much talent yet often so bland.

New PJ Harvey isn't too bad.

I've kinda stopped caring about Korpiklaani. Every album sounds the same. Unless they give the songwriting a kick in the ass, I'll remain uninterested.

New Chimaira's out this week. Heard a few songs and it basically sounds like their last couple of albums slowed down. Kerrang didn't like it, but what do they know? Review next week.
