That bad, is it? A Gate Through Bloodstained Mirrors is the only thing he's done worth bothering with, I think.
I don't even know if I'd say that much.

So the new iwrestledabearonce album isn't awful.

NP: God Dethroned - No Man's Land. Wow this is shaping up to be the best thing they've done in a long time.

God Dethroned - Poison Fog. Those clean vocals are awesome. I'm so impressed by this album.

I still need to give that new God D. a proper listen. Not at the top of my review list, really.

Aw c'mon. It's the best thing they've done in six to ten years. The clean vocals aren't cheesy either. If only I didn't work and go to school full time, I'd try to write some reviews.

NP: GD - No Survivors.

Weeell, I mean literally 30 seconds so I wouldn't like to say. Just some faded out guitar jangling made me think "hmm, perhaps not right now, thanks Malefic".

Madder Mortem - Eight Ways

Well weapon! This is proper prog metal with heavy on the prog... a bit like a mix of Faith No More and Cynic with a mental woman singing.

That sounds pretty awesome. Must check them out properly.

NP: Azarath - Sacrifice of Blood.

@Zad:If you didn't like their other stuff, you may not like it but it's definitely a step up for them. Whatevers.

Gorod - Programmers of Decline. :dio:

Wow. If I remember Neurotripsicks well enough, this album is tons times more melodic. Still technical but damn has the songwriting stepped it up.

@Veil of Maya: It was decent but it still didn't have any long-term promise. I guess I'll listen to it again.

NP: Veil of Maya - Crawl Back.

I just listened to a couple songs off of YouTube. Seemed like pretty standard Deathcore, except that I didn't hate it.

Hearse - Single Ticket To Paradise

This is one of those bands that just can't release an album full of great songs. It's the fourth I've heard from them and they are all in the 60's. I like this one better than the last two so at least there is some improvement. Sundown is probably the best song here.

Forest Stream - Tears Of Mortal Solitude

They've a new one out that I'm supposed to review, might as well revisit this.
