Ok, so per Ness's request, ill google blood red fog for samples. Oh, there are NONE on the web :lame:

But it is the band, no?

And I don't make outrageous claims based on nothing. I listened to that song and it was terrible. And for the record, I don't like black metal, don't tell me I don't know black metal.

Dont tell me Blood Red Fog sucks, cos if it does, then Drudkh, sterbend, Nyktalgia, Osculum Infame etc all suck, cos they play a similar style.

Kind of slow, depressed black metal, with doomy riffs and emphasis on drums. But has high vocals like Burzum, (though they are waaaay back in the mix)

They arent exactly like drudkh, but in the ballpark

Kewl new bands:

She Said Destroy - Tech Grind/Proggy deathness from Norway

Ebola - Mental Grindcore nuttiness with mad post-rock interludes. From Italy.

Shaarimoth - Bunch of Nihilistic shitheads playing rather cool Eastern Death Metal. Think Morbid Angel playing Nile songs, but with less rage and more reverance for imaginary QuaOS goddesses. Bonkers, but fun.

She said destroy is definitely very good. Got any samples? I have the album so it doesnt really matter......hahahaha tkae that kenneth!

They are not on the album very much, and they are mixed os far in the back you can literally almost not hear them.

30 Seconds To Mars-They are not new, but I just discovered them this year.

She Wants Revenge-Electronica/Indie-Rock

30 Seconds To Mars are awesome. Sadly their debut is much better. It's waaaaay more experimental than the latest. And now that the music scene is overrun with emo twerps it sort of takes away from 30 Seconds To Mars because this new album was a bit more stripped down and straightforward, making it come a little too close to the realm of emo for it to stand as unique as the debut.

30 Seconds to Mars are pretty good. "The Kill" is a solid song, although I haven't heard their debut.

And She Wants Revenge...ugh. "Tear You Apart" is just terrible.

30 seconds to mars are cool, I think I prefer the more straightforward style of the second album, though. Leto is almost pretty enough to turn me gay, too.
