I used to be a huge fan, but never an actual Juggalo. Old ICP is the shit & I even enjoyed the first Wraith, somewhat. I too didn't get the whole god thing, but whatever works for them. All I know is their sound is terribly stale now, its not even funny. Its really a shame... Wizard of the Hood was fucking Hilarious though! Singing along with some "Juggalo Homies" to any ICP when your piss drunk is great (especially while swinging in the park! [SWINGING FTW! Seriously though, I firmly believe swinging is one of the ultimate anti-depressants])... I became more of a fan of Esham & Twiztid though. Some serious talent there, atleast in my opinion.

There are a few good songs on the Wraith albums, but none come close to the stuff they did with MEC. Esham is overrated. His shit is 50/50, sometimes it's great, the other times it sucks. Twiztid have done better than ICP in the past few years, but again I feel that their beats are kind of boring now. Mostasteless is easily their best album to date.

God, Pantera fans piss me off. Especially when they feel the need to edit Wikipedia with God-awful rants (in ALL CAPS) ABOUT HOW MUCH OF A LEGEND DIME WAS, AND HOW MUCH OF A TURD PHIL IS. And they'll go in to some god-awful poetry about Dimebag. I'll always remember when my friend wrote one on the first anniversary of his death. I didn't have the heart to tell him it was shit. No disrespect to Dimebag, but the guy must be cringing in his grave.

actually, any Thrash band (and Pantera)

Slayer fans - Masochists
Metallica fans - Utter retards (how can they not be when you have
a retarded dwarf in the band?)
Pantera fans - Still live in denial, Dimebag's dead, face it, dammit!!!

I think Manowar fans pwn any other band's fanbase.

I think Metallica fans are the ones in denial. Can't get over the fact that the band hasn't released anything good in 15 years and never will again.

I would say the worst fanbase is the uber-necro-frostbitten-psychotic bm fans who burn down shit to be cool.

Pantera fans are the worst. Dimebag gets mentioned with the likes of Wai, Satriani, Batio, Petrucci etc... now. Seriously this is complete faggotry. He wasn't half as good as Petrucci, and was never metioned as such before he's alive now that he's dead he's become god. Pfft. I'll go kill myself now and become a guitar god, I can play the riff to Walk now. It's the best and most complex thing ever written. Check it out.

For the record, I think people do the same thing with Cliff Burton. Yeah, he's a great bass guitarist (particularly on Orion). But I do think his death and Metallica's radical change in style thereafter cause a lot of people to exaggerate his greatness. I can't stand it when people say, "If Cliff was still around, none of this would've ever happened." Errrr, how do you know this? Did you actually know the guy in real life? On the contrary, he was actually a big fan of bluesy rock (Metallica's style on the Load twins), mainstream pop (the other bandmembers would even make fun of him for it), and even classical music. That right there should say something.

As for most retarded fanbase, I'm going with the pop-punk scene. 16 year olds with buzzcuts and hot topic outfits thinking they're rebellious and politically aware for listening to American Idiot. I've even seen people who think that's the first politically charged rock album ever.

+10,000 to everything said about the Slayer fanbase.

So far unmentioned fanbases:

H.I.M.
Insipid teenagers who think they are romantic because they listen to some dude with a flat voice and bad personal hygiene croon about lurve. Some are so fanatical it's scary. A deadly cocktail of two things - teenagers obsessed with tragic romance and the pop-goffs.

Marylin Manson
No comment needed.

Slipknot
OMG HEVIEST BAND EVAR! 555! 666!

Cannibal Corpse
Most CC fans are decent folks with good taste. However, a huge chunk should have their license to breathe permanently revoked.

I agree with most of the observations already posted. ICP are a complete and utter musical abomination that should never be leant any credibility on any level! The fans of all the church burning satanic nordic black metal twats are equally ridiculous. Yes, Pantera fans..Dimebag is gone..please get over it and get used to it. I’m sick of this guy being revered as some saint or god. I don’t know if anyone else feels the way I do but this guy was not a god!!! He was not a guitar genius. Was he a talented guitar player?..Yes he was. Was he an innovator? HELL NO!! If I’m to burned for that opinion…so be it. I understand people mourning Randy Rhoads, Jimmy Hendrix, etc. I will never ever place Dimebag in the company of those players.

I’ll chime in that Hot Topic Emo band fans drive me insane, as do fans of certain power metal bands. I’ve stood shoulder to shoulder at a few power metal shows (eh hem..DragonForce, eh hem..Hammerfall) and these fans are nerd to the 1,000th power!!
