I'm sorry to say this, but for a flamewar, that board seems actually a more intelligent and open-minded place than this one. Ken, the comments you quoted were ripped a little out of contest, and a lot of them came from a guy who registered just to post in that thread. You can't identify a forum with a guy that has 16 posts.

There was about 5 or 6 other people jumping my case, of course I quoted the most extreme for dramatic purposes, but they weren't out of context. The board is definitely a good board to find new bands, but anything even remotely commercial is slammed. It's the COTD Headquarters over there.

None of it bothers me, I actually find it amusing. I have no true interest invested in that board, you know?

His band would be The Gates Of Slumber. It's the last line that baffles me, I mean, is it so hard for some people to understand the concept of taste? I mean, he's questioning what went wrong like somehow he's failed in his music because I like his band band and those other bands. Very strange.
