actually there's not much original italian philosophy.... but I can say: While italians were writing latin grammar books, the english were grunting and beating their arms

I'd turn this into an argument, but I've been in this situation before, so I'm just going to say: Shut up, you're wrong.

look, I live in an italian culture, go to school in italian and am taught italian literature. But I so much prefer Shakespeare to Dante Alighieri that I just... ah well but I could throttle my teacher sometimes when she starts harping on about S Francesco and all those other catholic jerks...

a quick search of dc++ turned up every band Carnifex mentioned on a hub that wasn't even suited to melodeath. that program is a total goldmine, you can find dumb stuff like Thergothon and LLN demos on it..

anyway, I don't know what you've already heard, but check out Boris.. 'cause you have to know right now whether you really like heavy music.

Yeah, at least Imperanon and The Duskfall are well known names, they are not obscure at all and are easy to find. Shop, net, whatever rocks your c... :o

Epidemic-Decameron

Good Death/Thrash from the early nineties. Download it, you won't find it anywhere.

No, It's not that new band with the same name.

You may not have the right version of dc++, or you may have to change a few settings depending on your internet connection. E.G- From "Active" to "Passive" and vise versa.

That happened to me too, the version i downloaded wasnt meant for what i was running, had to get a different one and then had to change some settings. This just may be the problem for you.

DC++ is THE best places to find EVERY type of metal. Its an endless goldmine like someone else said

I was just listening to Imaginary Direction of Time on the way home. What a fantastic album. Can't wait for the new one.

they were cool and all but some combination of their singer and their keyboardist made me want to inflict harm on others

I'd recommend Adagio - Dominate if you're looking for something with a classical bent.

Age of Silence: ruined by the vocals.

Age of Silence: ruined by the vocals.

I found them to be an acquired taste, but I got used to them.
