Refinement in Torment sounds like a name some Emo-Core band would use. It doesn't fit Technical Death/Black. I can just imagine some little girly-man in his sister's jeans and bleached hair screaming "My torment has been refined!" followed by the obligatory breakdown.

EDIT: It's an okay album name though.

One I thought up a while ago was "Seer". Some cool logo possibilities there, as well...

Well, I always liked Death Rattle. A few bands have it, but none of them are well known anyway. At Death's Door is the best there.

My brother and his friends' band is "Sea of Moisture."

That works though, because it could have a different, sexay meaning.

That's just because the word "moist" sounds very sexually explicit to begin with.

-...even more known is A.D.H.D. which stands for "Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder". Even if I played the corpsest grind I wouldn't name my band after this disease :x ...Besides "A Decaying Heaven Dies", or whatever, sounds just like one of those crap emocore bands (someone mentioned this already).

This has also been already said: but I too liked ur explanations on the backgrounds of all the titles I do that too As I believe a name becomes much more descriptive and personal if there's an actual meaning behind it.

But since u said u play technical death metal (w/ some black metal), that immediately reminded me of bands like Death, Cynic and Focus... So following that path I would suggest coming up with something shorter, and perhaps a made-up name, or something from latin... And what's with the obsession to acronyms?! And does it have to imply something satanical? Are you satanical?! :shock: I haven't heard of satanical technical death metal before

I could probably come up with a good name for you (I'm obsessed with names :twisted:), but I don't like to give out my ideas freely just to anyone. But here's just one I came up, I tried combining all the aspects: Kain Of Abyss (K.O.A.) ??? I think it's kinda cool :roll:
