That's if my friends will go, and I don't know when I can buy a ticket-any idea of how many have sold? there's only 5000 available.

I about a week I am going be at the Rites of Spring festival. Playing there are going to be a lot of alternative and jam bands, such as; Gov't Mule(my favorite of them), Hot Buttered Rum, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Blue Merle, and Ben Folds, among others. Being in Tennessee, I rarely have the opportunitity to go to a metal festival, although I'd like to. Ozzfest is the only possibility thus far, which will be in August.

I'm off to download this year, lotta bands I wnat to see:

SYL, coheed, Soulfly, Deftones, TOOL, Alice in Chains, Avenged sevenfold, Dragonforce, TOOL, Metallica, In Flames, Lacuna Coil, Opeth, Arch Enemy, The Axl rose roadshow....TOOL. Plus I also want to throw bottles of my own urine at bullet for my valentine.

Anyway, worth the price of admission for me plus I'm going with a large bunch of mates so it should be pissupstonedtastic. I do want to try and get to Wacken one of these days.

Should I go to Ozzfest this year, being as it is one of the only outlets for live metal that I have?

Yeah, I know. I went last year and and a grass seat/general admission ticket cost me $30, not to mention the cost of lunch ,etc. So that would be a definite reason I wouldn't go.

Wouldn't mind seeing Symphony X, though.

Yeah, I was a bit gutted when I heard they cancelled, but I'd swap them for Kamelot any day.
