Morbid Fucking Angel have just signed with Season of Fucking Mist. :D :D :D :D :D Album due 2010.

Plus, Rotting Christ's new album will be out in February. Nemtheanga from Primordial and Diamanda Galas will guest.

Though not as exciting as the Morbid Angel news, The Monolith Deathcult should also be releasing a new one next year, along with a '2.0 version' of The White Crematorium.

More excited about new Nox than new Morbid Angel really. I dunno I have a hard time caring about anything other than Altars and Covenant. DM bands seem to get old after hearing two or three of their albums.

They wont even come close to the quality that their debut album is, but cool to see that they are back.

I guess. I don't really remember later Morbid Angel being that different than earlier Morbid Angel other than crazier guitar solos or something like that. It's been like two years since I listened to them much (maybe three, I remember my Morbid Angel binge being when the Canucks were in the playoffs, but it was earlier than last season and they didn't make it the year before that iirc. EDIT: just checked wikipedia and I guess it was spring 07.) And I can't think of any death metal bands who have changed to make themselves interesting over their careers lol

I'm actually hoping to be surprised, though I won't hold my breath. Still, I don't think RM could possibly put out a bad album... *knocks on wood*
