He surprised me by sounding a lot different than he does on the album. A lot rawer, more "human", if you will. I preferred his live voice to the polished, too perfect album voice.

Yeah, Portnoy's a fuckin' dick. Someone should let him know that the number of notes is not directly proportional to the quality of the music. If he doesn't understand that, then JUST BECAUSE YOU PLAY FAST DOESN'T MEAN YOU'RE ANY GOOD, ASSHOLE.

Fortunately, Dream Theater's good, but still... It's not good to be a cocky moron, especially one that talks down on his audience like that.
