Rich, Textured, Soundscapes. Ambiance/minimalistic/electronica at its finest. It takes patience and demands a lot of attention from the listener. Alex, I highly recommend you trip on this with Mushrooms. Or Carbon Based Lifeforms. It's matter in motion...

Cool, I will. In fact, August is the month of the "Recolecta", when mushis are ripe for harvest in the mountains. Can't wait. I'm going to upload some photos of the trip the next month.

This music on mushrooms will definitely give you a perspective like no other music ever will.

Listening right now (not on mushis, just ganja), and it's great. I'm really digging this stuff, thx Nima.

You're welcome, buddy. You should also definitely check out Carbon Based Lifeforms. They have four albums out. Hydroponic Garden, World of Sleepers, Interloper and their latest that is not out yet: Twentythree (It'll be out on the 23rd of this month). They're one the best artists of that record: Ultimae. All their (CBL) albums are very well-worth checking out. Alex, another artist I highly recommend you check out for your mushroom trips is Jean-Michel Jarre and his Geometry of Love album. One of the times I did Mushrooms with that album was something quite spectacular to be quite frank with you.

I'm sure I heard a Jarre album sometime ago (not the album you mention), and it sounded like some very gay 80's electronica. But I'll try Geometry of Love, although the name doesn't very promising. I've one album by CBL, Hydroponic Garden. It was given to me as a gift by a teacher, because I gave him some very good weed. He was so happy that he gave me also an original DVD of Monty Python's Holy Grail. That movie is so hilarious!

Rush - Hold Your Fire and Power Windows.

Really regret my reviews for these, now, as with a few other Rush albums I wrote about that I should have taken more time with. Wonderful albums.

Yeah... The only album I like from Jarre is Geometry of Love which in my opinion is some of the best electronica ever produced. You should definitely give it a listen on youtube. A track called Velvet Road: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D2Cf4OPm_1Y Although I do suggest you smoke a big Joint and listen to Geometry of love as a whole. There is also a group called Chilled C'quence and their album Magic Sense that you might find interesting. About 4 years ago it was on my play-list for a month straight.

It always amazes me how little fillers are those albums. I don't think PW has any and HYF only has Tai Shan. The rest is rock solid pop prog.
