This turned out to be a popular thread. Ok let's see...

Blind Guardian are overrated. They're good but not as good as the praises suggest. Especially in terms of praises, their early albums are average at best. They did like only one really great album - NiME.

Dream Theater have the most pompous vocalist and their music sucks most of the time.

Opeth are boring.

Can't understand the hype over Orphaned Land either. They sound original but nothing else.

... i don't give a sheize about tr00ness - escpecielly not when it comes from Darkthrone ( which i think they don't posses at all). The only thing that's "tr00" about them is they don't care what other ppl say.

Candlemass after Epicus Doomicus Metallicus is awful. The so-called Messiah should be crucified like the real one.

Orphaned Land is quite possibly the most overrated non-Opeth album to come out in the last couple years. Mabool is the most flaming album I have ever heard, beating out even Kamelot. Orphaned Land's so-called male vocalist sounds like Vintersorg's midget twin.

I hate Opeth almost as much as Dead Machine does.
