Hey Zad, howd you manage to get to be a reviewer. I looked all over the site but couldn't even find an e-mail address to contact them at.

One of them mentioned it in a thread here, and I got in touch.

I'm not sure whether they're still looking for people, but try here.

Should've have mentioned the opening line:

"Thank you for the kool aid, reverend Jim"

The heck?

Reverened Jim and I had a "special relationship". Kool-Aid enemas for all!

"White Alert!"
"White Alert!"
"Drink the wine!"
"Drink the wine!"
"They'll be here with flamethrowers!"
"Drink the wine and go to sleep. Go to sleep forever!"

Pearl Jam is not my thing but Limp bizkit is absolutely killer and Zad did a good job explaining how awesome they are.

Have to disagree with that Pearl Jam review. It never grew on me, and it's a massive waste of talent. It's so pedestrian. I remember literally falling asleep during it.

Seriously, why do people have so much respect for classic albums? I really don't find them that good or interesting at all. Aren't Iron Maiden and Metallica and stuff just like the Trivium's and Mastodon's of 20 years ago?

I think I need a thicker flame-resistant coat.

How did I skip over this? Compare Maiden to Trivium again and I will find you.

Maiden rose out of the late 70s when no one in the press gave a fuck about Metal, ignoring a bunch of two-bit little record companies telling them to cut their hair and get their faces pierced to eventually help re-invent a genre and influence every Metal band you listen to.

Trivium are riding the crest of a trend-wave.

But yeah, otherwise they're basically the same.
