What would be your ultimate lineup:
Mine
Vocals - Daniel Heiman (My favourite since Michael Kiske stopped singing metal)

Guitars - Alex Scholnick and John Petrucci (Two of the best Alex is awesome and after seeing DT live JP blew me away).

Bass - John Myung (one of the best)

Drums - Virgil Donati (amazing drummer)

Keyboard - Jens Johansson (Been my favourite for years)

pretty much anyone on drums is a good deal, there are so many great dummers, almost anyone would fit nicely.

My dream band consists of:

Vocals: Myself on growls and/or mellow & normal singing. Somebody better on screams
Rythm guitar: Myself after 2-3 cups of coffee
Lead guitar: Myself on booze
Bass: Myself when bored or not on coffee or booze
Drums: Hhhmm I could say myself but I suppose any normal drummer who can play and obey my musical genius can probably do better.
Keyboards: Anybody, my cousin preferably

I see what you did there.

Vocals are tough because I like many different styles, but I'll go with:

Vocals (Clean) - Robert Lowe
Vocals (un-Clean) - Barney Greenway
Guitar - Bobby Gustafson
Guitar - Matt Pike
Bass - Leif Edling
Drums - John Bonham (R.I.P.)

Looking at that list, its more of just a favorites for each position, but oh well.
