A good way to start the morning.

Yes, it's one of their best albums imo.

I would have to agree. A very strong effort.

It has been a while since I have listened to either of these recordings.

Upon its release I never heard it. Only about two years after its release did I hear it and I can say that it was only over time that I came to appreciate it more. An excellent release by metal standards but only a good release by Enslaved standards. Yet still, it receives attention from me from time to time (every few months or so) and I think it certainly deserves that. A much beloved band.

I'm down for some enslaved too.

Thanks for the company, buddy. I personally find E to be an excellent release. I liked it much more than any of the two Enslaved recordings I was playing.

A continuation on the pathways of their excellencies and the Norwegian immortal legacy of the progressive.

It was high time to give Maestro Ihsahn his due time. This recording is certainly very fine and well. I am just simply not very sure making "progress" in artistic endeavors is always positive and "moving forward" is necessarily the right choice to make, with the pedigree and caliber of previous outputs. But that is for the Maestro to decide and certainly very little to nothing is left to the listener such as me. Nevertheless, a great release from him, and one that I return to often so I can come to have a better appreciation of it. Whatever that is worth, I am sure quite a bit. An attention that Ihsahn very much deserves and will receive from me.

A recording I can never abandon. A work of his alongside with Eremita in which Ihsahn is at the heights of his artistic powers.

A recording of his which I have spent the least amount of time on. A ripe time to give it another proper listen.

A tremendous release, if you ask me.
