Wait, when did people trash Dead Heart? That's actually one of Nevermore's most acclaimed albums. Enemies Of Reality is the album that takes the most heat (probably because it's less complex than other Nevermore albums).

I've seen some comments in the Nevermore forums and also from people I know so I guessed it is a common thing.

I'd say they are the thrash band with the best riffs. Maybe only old Megadeth can compare. Now I know from trying to play all Testament songs that their riffs usually are 5-6 powerchords in different order but I guess it's the stuff that Skolnick and Patterson add what makes them good, and how they order it. I also love Chuck's vocals.

Chuck Billy should REALLY do a death metal side project sometime. He does that death metal grunt better than most real death metal vocalists do.
