It sounds like very easy music to me. Something you instantly like or dislike. I like it, but I gotta give em the clean vocals are weak, the grunts aren't a lot better. I think their new album is better though, as it uses less vocals.
Well, it certainly isn't an album you will comprehend the first time (Yes, the first time you either like or not) 'Ashes Against The Grain' is fuckin' Brilliant but then again I love anything that Agalloch has ever done. I think everyone knows by now that I adore Agalloch.
