Rage Against The Machine - Know Your Enemy is an awesome song. Fuck them.

Yeah I always thought the riff in that song was great..

In the GW article, they diss the solo.

Yeah I forgot about that, that's it's actually not just riffs on that list, which would explain the strange inclusion of Aerosmith's "Walk This Way".

They were talking about some live version of Walk This Way.

Consider yourself lucky for the most part then, most of this stuff is utter crap anyway.

Question: How can Lenny Kravitz get credit for American woman when he didnt even come up with the riff?

Well, for what it's worth, he plays it better than Grand Funk Railroad did, but that's not saying much...

My mistake. Don't always tell ya who's who when it's on the radio. Oh well, fuck The Guess Who, Lenny Kravitz, and that shitty song!

I haven't heard most of these riffs. Kinda surprised to find Spit You Out on there as it's not really a guitar based song, more a craptastic song which sticks in my brain like a poisoined fish hook.

The guitar solo on Deep Purple's 'Fireball' is the worst, and I mean WORST solo ever recorded.

I think that was also on VH1's list of the "100 Most Awesomely Bad Songs Ever" back about two years ago.

I'll confess, I also have a soft spot for the Top Gun theme.

know your enemy is a fuking awesome song, they prob dissed the solo cause Morello made his own style and makes noises people are not used to hearing in a guitar.

Bah! That list didn't include Bazzah! Bazzah is undisputably worst of the worst!

I feel all Slipknot songs should have been included. I sincerely feel this poll is inaccurate. Hands up in favour of nuking em!

Yeah, but since when did music critics (or bedroom shredding guitar journalists) understand Venom?
