Check out my band Amalgamate. We are almost finished with our first full length "The Possession of Richard Voth". We are influenced from the likes of Opeth, Nevermore, Enslaved, Death, Hipocricy, etc.... Our influences are very broad but I think we have a unique style to offer. Not bad. Not bad at all. I'll have a closer listen after I finish building a dike around my house in preparation for the ten days of thunderstorms the weather channel is predicting.

EDIT: I'm not enamored of the clean vocals, and the Opeth influence is sometimes a little heavy (although I love Opeth, so it's not necessarily a bad thing). Overall, something worthwhile to listen to.

Wow, impressive stuff. Like the others said, I hear a lot of Opeth, but if you can develop your own style you'll be really good...the talent is certainly there. Like the singer, as well.

You delve into some total Opeth worship for sure, which is a little much at times, but I'd rather listen to this than Ghost Reveries. The clean vocals are a little iffy, but not bad.

Well done.

I liked it a lot!! Very good production, lots of heaviness and impressive guitar sound. Very interesting riffs but since I'm not an die-hard Opeth fan I'm not sure about the strong influence and the originality. In short, it all sounds like a very very interesting work and I'd love t hear more.
