We remember you that « Live From the Abyss » contains the 10th anniversary concert of the band recorded on the 3rd of May 2007 at the Nautylis of Comines, France (2 hours of concert), two bonus (the story of the band and the making-of of the concert) and a CD with the audio track of the gig. The DVD+CD is presented in a full-colour digipak with a 8 pages booklet.

Why do you stupid people have to constantly attack bands? I'd expect the mods to do something about it, but it was proven long ago that the main drive behind this site isn't to promote music, so I'm not surprised.

If you gave a fuck about music, or at least upheld what a site like this is about, you'd delete posts that do nothing but mock bands trying to get somewhere in the business. I don't think our comments will in any way influence if a X band gets into business or not.

No, probably not. But it does reflect on the integrity of this site. I think it's been made clear that—at least—90% of the posters here could not give a rat's ass about music outside of their own selfish agenda. But the people who run this site should have flushed those turds long ago.

By not allowing forum reviews, and doing nothing about forum posters talking shit about band's promoting their music, is laughable. It's a complete contradiction of purpose. Where does the integrity lie? Maybe I know too many musicians; maybe I care too much. Who knows! All I know is that many of you disgrace this site, and the site owner and a few of his helpers disgrace the bands and the scene they have vowed to promote and support.

Whether or not I'm too passionate doesn't change that last statement. It is fact.

Whoa, Nelly. As the man said, the majority of people here just want to listen to the music. Even though the rest of us (and don't confuse 'being a moderator' with being 'part of the site') have accepted the mantle of Metal criticism, that doesn't mean we have to shore up every talentless twat with the means to make an album. We cull the weak, we take aside those that are an embarassment to themselves and others and dispatch them, and by praising those that deserve it, that's how our agenda is fulfilled.

Forgive us for not buying the majority of our music from the bargain bin, but promoting good music doesn't mean promoting music full stop. If a band is good, we praise. If not, we mock, and that's how it's always been, and that's how it will always be.

For the most part, yes, I do buy my music. The actual CDs. 'Cause I like to hold and admire what I've bought, and read through the booklets (if they're included).

Your comments highlight exactly the problem I spoke about. Music was NOT about mocking until the internet gave cowards a platform to be tough guys. Simple as that.


Nazis? You're talking about a place that most of the reviewers wanted to get rid of because of all the bullshit. It has nothing to do with being forum nazis; it has to do with having some damn integrity and respect. Plain and simple. This website claims to be about promoting music, but the forum embraces the tearing down of that very same thing. That makes sense?

Oh, come ON, ‘mock’ was a figure of speech. Read my reviews, when do I ever mock a band? And OK, sometimes the feedback from the forum is less than positive, but I don’t see this as an automatic bad thing. Fans letting musicians know that their music is dreadful is an essential piece of the puzzle.



You're going way OTT here. It's a Metal website, full of metalheads, not the society for the promotion of 3rd world artists. It's a brutal world, and for brutal music fans there's nothing untoward about a calling a band crap. That does not mean that we're single-handedly responsible for making sure that every fledgling band that sends in a demo gets encouragement. If they're good, sure, if not, why the hell should we?

Anyways, you should know by now that the site and the forum have very little to do with each other. Radagast's a moderator, not a spokesman for the site; attacking him is plain silly.
