Pretty cool stuff, 'cept for the sound quality. :/ Vocals sound like he's
been way to close to the mic. Would be nice if the vocals were a bit
further back in the mix. Drums are rather anonymous and the synth
takes overhand at times.

Overall though, I like this kind of mix. Too bad you only had two
songs up.

.:crast:.

edit: Better mix on the second song that I heard(Vacant Sky).
Allthough I'd still like to hear some more punch and clarity from the
vocalist. And this time, more guitars! :) Anyway, previous verdict
stands. Good stuff, and with a more professional recording, I'm sure
this would slay!

yea man, thats exactly what were doing actually, were redoing these two songs, and recording 3 more. ( 5 song EP) this was a free recroding job we got from a friend, explaining the mic-to-mouth vocals sound, loud ass synth and my drums being washed away in the background. your absolutely right about everything you said though, and well be getting those recording by next weekend.
plus we got a new vocalist with a little more range.

thanks for checking us out, and ill keep you posted on our new recordings. by the way, canopy is the shit man, :dio:

I have to just agree with Crast here. He said the things I thought when listening. It will be very interesting to hear this EP.

yeah, we should have it out soon. the ep is taking a fucking while, but its been a hell of a learning experience, as a matter of fact though it should be on the myspace by either this weekend or next week.

Sounds very interesting. Maybe a little too much keyboard for my taste but that's just me. The sound quality of those 2 songs is indeed awful (I'm talking about the quality of the mp3/whatever). I'm not sure about the production, it sounds pretty good but I can't judge due to the sound quality of the files. Other than that, the guitars sound heavy, the drums are ok (they could be a bit heavier).
I also really liked your lyrics. Very depicting, emotional, I could feel exactly what you wanted to say - well done there!!
