I do enjoy the detailed three-headed dragon made of fire, but the anime hair and slitty red eyes make me think 'Dragonball.' Which seems to have been what you were aiming for.

I don't know that many metal bands will want to display Dragonball-esque artwork on their covers, but it would make a really cool poster.

You're definitely very good at skies, I like that moonlit sky and the way the moonlight filters through the gray stormy clouds at points.

Yes its Dragonballish in nature cause I used to draw online anime in the past... the black figure is a drawing that must be almost 10 years old... I recycled it in this pic and I agree probably metal bands won't want any anime in their images... that's fine with me. Thanks for the comments, and I'm glad you like it metalhead, I had a feeling you would :).

I have looked att all of the pictures posted here so far and I must say that they are all great achivements but this one really stands out. Kind of reminds me of Crouching Tiger, Hidden dragon and Flying Daggers in some ways, and thats a compliment to say the least.
Great stuff!

Hey Vikie, I know Chris does some great work, but you should come out to the other forums and introduce yourself.

Yeah...You're right. But here, I only wanted to comment his work a little bit, since I just discovered it recently and loved it very much. I don't have much free time to go on many forums and talk...But you can find me on Edguy's. I'm there quite often. Ciao bye ! 8)

I like it.

To be honest I am planning on recording a demo in late 06 and would like to use this cover image. I still need time to get up money for the CD pressing (musiciansfriend.com, they got good prices) and to replace two departing band members and train some new ones (one being lead vocals, hard to find a good lead vocalist). How much does it cost to use an image?

As I said earlier, I don't plan on needing it until mid to late 06 to get everything ready for the group. Luckily I already have a lot of the details taken care of (a decent stage set, incredible PA system for a small band like ourselves, recording equipment, etc.) I just need time to get the cash for the CD pressing, and time to get the new members ready to record. Also the demo is only half done, I've got some killer stuff written lyrically and killer drum parts (I'm both drummer and backup vocals) but I'm relying on the bass and guitarist to come up with some good guitar work.

Anyway, I'm interested in using this image sometime next year. If you are interested please reply.

We are also in need of a good logo. The band name is Fire and Steel, I'm looking for something along the lines of the word fire being in flames or made of flame, the "and" being two crossed swords, and the word steel to have a chrome or metallic look.

It's currently a small time deal and the band is only halfway through the restructuring phase, not to mention the biggest crowd we played for is maybe 100, but I don't give up and I feel the potential is there to break in a big way in the coming years.
