I know a while back there was talk of a updated site design to metalreviews.com. Any update, powers that be?

Sorry for the late response, but Chris says its coming along great and will have a few more features than the curent version. I can't really give an ETA, but he is working really hard to make it a reality as soon as he can. However, if you've noticed the pronouns I've been using, it's all "he" and not "we". None of the other reviewers are as skilled with computers as he is, so he is pretty much doing this all single-handedly.

Thanks, Dylan! I feel bad for Chris having to do all the work himself.

I just saw a preview of it last night. I'm pretty sure everyone is going to like it!

Cool. Though I've been coming to this site for what, five-six years now so I'll be kinda sad to see it change :D
But I'm sure it's for the better! I remember the old comments thing on the reviews, it was kinda cool! Though a normal forum is preferable, I still miss the easy way to make a comment on any album reviewed on the site.

By the way, thanks for keeping my #1 metal review site alive for so long, I've been coming here almost as long as I've been a metal fan.

+1, 'cept I haven't been on here as much as you.

Well, I'm not a big web guru, but I'm sure it's a very time consuming process. I believe Chris said he is looking to find someone to help write the code for the new version. He has been devoting alot of time to this lately.

Having seen a sample of what it will look like, it will be easily worth the wait.

I would think that news item about looking for a new person to write code and waiting for someone to bite is the hold up.

No. I'm sure Chris will make a news post about it when there are any updates. I believe he is still searching for someone to help write the code.
